About UsIn 1995 it was our time to shop for furniture for our new little bungalow, we were excited about finally getting rid of our antiques...well...really family hand me downs. We were so disappointed in the furniture we saw. Big box retailers filled with stuff that neither truly inspired us or of such poor quality it was soon to be headed for a landfill. On one trip, an armoire door literally fell off the hinges! It was then that we decided to open a store that was a reflection of our lifestyle and values. In the fall of 1996 we did just that. We opened our first store in the quaint village of Grandview. Denise ran the store during the day and Dennis would take over in the evenings and would share weekends. Dennis continued to work for an architect to pay for health insurance and provide a steady income for the family until 1999 when we decided to open a much larger store in Grandview. In 2004 after tremendous growth we opened the current store on Polaris Parkway. No longer having to muscle furniture up a flight of stairs in the two-story Grandview location we are pleased with the results. We hope you will be also.
