Design

We find inspiration in our industrial and agricultural past. Beneath the dust and patina of old crates and pallets is the beginning of a rust belt renewal. We are honored to continue the legacy of our forefathers, they fashioned a way of life which we strive to emulate today.

At American Furnishings it is important for us to put our objects in an appropriate historical and cultural context. We use the landscape as a reference point, it's this landscape combined with the Midwestern craftspeople that create the American Furnishings point of view.
